We are delighted to announce an extraordinary event hosted by Paragon Hotel Ostuni: the art exhibition “Edge of Hope.” This event offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the compelling works of two award-winning photographers, Anthony Dawton and Jim McFarlane.

Inaugural Evening with the Artists The exhibition will open on June 6 at 6:30 PM at Largo Michele Ayroldi Carissimo, 14, 72017 Ostuni (BR) Puglia. You will have the chance to meet the artists in person and discover the stories behind their powerful images.

“Edge of Hope”: An Awareness and Fundraising Project The “Edge of Hope” exhibition is part of the Project Hope initiative, aimed at raising awareness and funds for the work of the Amal Foundation in the Rohingya refugee camps in Cox’s Bazar. This photographic project highlights the lives and hopes of over 900,000 refugees, most of whom are children.

Deeply Human Photographic Works The images presented were captured with an approach that prioritizes building trust and respect towards the people photographed. Anthony Dawton and Jim McFarlane have created black and white photographs, hand-printed and in large format, that reveal the human condition of the Rohingya with extraordinary depth and intensity. Each image is a silent testimony to their plight but also to the resilience and hope that permeate their lives.

Purchase Exclusive Works The prints of the exhibited photographs will be available in a limited edition for purchase through the Project Hope website: www.amalhopeproject.com. By purchasing these works, you will not only enrich your art collection but also support an important humanitarian cause.

Jim McFarlane, an Australian with over 35 years of experience, has taught photography and worked in various fields, from advertising to documenting humanitarian situations.
